Seasonal affective disorder (Most commonly know as SAD) is a form of depression it typically occurs at the same time every year. If you’re like most with seasonal affective disorder, your symptoms will begin in Autumn and usually continue into the winter months, draining you of energy and making you feel a little more ‘moody’ than usual. Less often, seasonal affective disorder causes depression in the spring or early summer. Treatment for seasonal affective disorder consists of light therapy- (phototherapy) also medications. Lucky for us were finally beginning to see the starts of our much deserved summer!
