Here are a few facts about our feet! Did you know that two feet are never the same, one of them is usually longer than the other, this is why you must always try both shoes on when purchasing a new pair. When walking, each time we lift our heels from the ground this then means the toes must carry one half of our body weight! Our feet and ankles are an extremely strong structure, containing 26 bones, 33 joints and over 100 muscles, tendons/ ligaments! Surprisingly a 1/4 of all bones in the human body are in the feet, if the feet are injured, or the bones become broken your entire body is then out of alignment, making everyday life much more difficult. The world record for the largest feet goes to a gentlemen who goes by the name of Matthew Mcgrory, wearing a massive size 28 and a half shoe.
