Every day we are faced with facts on food, what to eat and what to avoid, even though what is advised is changed regularly. This may mean one week something is classed as good for you, whereas, the next it is bad for you and you should stop eating the “food of choice” immediately.
One food yet to receive a negative comment is dark chocolate. There has being many good benefits on eating this sweet treat, along with it being a chocolate that is not actually frowned upon it can do wonders for promoting good health when consumed in not overly generous amounts. So more and more people especially those in bad health or suffering from illness are recommend to consume dark chocolate for a treat rather than milk chocolate as it can obviously help promote slightly better health for those ineed.
One of the many good things dark chocolate can offer is that it promotes a healthy heart as it is high in vitamins and minerals, also it has been proven eating the dark treat several times throughout the week can help to lower blood pressure as dark chocolate improves blood flow throughout our bodies which may also help in preventing us from getting blood clots.
As it filters and thins our blood it also increases blood flow into our brains so it can help improve cognitive function, which also helps to boost our moods. Dark chocolate also holds antioxidants which is another great reason to eat it, along with the great taste it is jam packed with huge health benefits.
So rather than eating the normal milk chocolate it is recommended switching to dark as doing so may not make you feel as sinful when you have consumed a huge amount and you have an excuse to indulge on this chocolate.
